Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on Blackwall Drive at Wardell to carry out routine maintenance on Wardell Bridge.

Work starting on Monday, 3 November will be carried out from 6am to 5pm and is expected to take five days to complete, weather permitting.

Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during working hours. Motorists should allow extra travel time during this work.

There will also be repair work on the advanced warning lights on the southern side of the bridge for one day with a shoulder closure in place during the works hours for safety of workers and motorists. 

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
