Motorists are advised of changed conditions for the riverside car park next to Fawcett Bridge in the Lismore CBD this weekend as part of ongoing bridge maintenance and improvement work.

The car park will be closed on Sunday 30 August from 7am to 5pm, weather permitting, to allow cranes to lift materials into place as part of repair work on the bridge piers.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists. Traffic controllers will help people exiting the car park.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
