A car accident on Ballina Road in Goonellabah has caused delays in traffic along the busy stretch of road this afternoon.

Two cars were involved in an accident on Ballina Road this afternoon, with a ute blocking the left lane.

Live Traffic NSW reported the accident occurred at 3.39pm near Bruxner Crescent and traffic is affected in both directions.
