Buses have been scheduled to help those asked to evacuate the Lismore CBD, South Lismore, North Lismore and parts of East Lismore.

They will pick up at four bus stops in Lismore every 30 minutes from 7pm.

Buses will go from the Lismore area to the Southern Cross University evacuation centre.

This will pivot to higher frequency if passenger demand is higher than expected.

Locations:

North Lismore (has Shelter with accessibility): Outside Northern Rivers Hotel – Teranania St

South Lismore: Outside Lismore Railway Stn, Union St. (undercover)

Lismore CBD: Lismore Transit Centre – Molesworth St

East Lismore: Besides Spar Supermarket (Esmonde St)
