Bureau says a wet Tuesday then fine but coolerThe weather radar at 3:45 this afternoon. The rain should stop for Trick or Treating tonight.

While the clouds and a touch of rain look ominous for Trick or Treating tonight in Lismore and the Northern Rivers, the Bureau of Meteorology radar suggests the rain should stop around 5pm for a cloudy night before the cold front reaches us early in the morning.

Danny from the The Bureau said we will definitely get rain rain tomorrow, however, nowhere near what the more south western parts of the state will be experiencing.

This wintery blast is bringing the possibility of snow around the Central West with Bathurst expecting a dusting as is Walcha in the New England area.

For Lismore and the Northern Rivers we can expect 8-15mm of rain tomorrow so enough to wet the grass and water the gardens. There is the possibility of a thunderstorm that may increase the rainfall in some areas, however, this is slight.

We will see a notable drop in temperature as the mercury drops 5 degrees to 24 but again, some parts of the state are expecting a 10 degree drop later tonight or tomorrow.

Danny told the Lismore App this is a fast moving front so it should clear by Wednesday afternoon leaving a cool and windy Wednesday and Thursday.

The outlook for the rest of the week is pretty good with a few small showers into the weekend but we are talking 0-3mm at this stage.
