Bureau say rainfall likely to be within typical range

While a shower or two is the forecast for today (Tuesday) from the Bureau of Meteorology, spring is twelve days away, but we are going to get an early taste for the rest of this week.

The temperatures will climb to the mid-twenties as we head into the weekend, with Thursday a warm 27 degrees.

We should get used to the warmer weather because The Bureau says the the next three months (September to November) will have warmer days and nights.

The chance of above median temperatures is 93%, while the chance of unusually warm temperatures is 48%.

The good news is that the three-month forecast predicts a typical seasonal range in terms of rainfall.

The chance of above median rainfall, that is greater than 258.7mm, is 51%.

La Niná is still in the 'watch' phase, and The Bureau says it is also as likely to be a neutral weather position over the summer storm season. No doubt we will receive more clarification as we head towards December.
