Three of Marist Brothers' Rams most promising players brothers Kyle and Lachlan Kennedy and Josh Patston will play for Northern Rivers Titans in the opening round of the Men's Under-23s Country Championships.

In great news for Brothers and rugby league fans in general, the match against the Greater Northern Tigers is at Crozier Oval, Lismore, at 2pm.

"Lachlan is an awesome forward that is very versatile, runs great lines and works hard for his team mates," saids Brothers' Assistant Coach Mark Sivewright, who is hoping the fans support their team tomorrow.

"Kyle, in my opinion, is the best young forward in NRRRL. He has got a great work rate and is a very smart footballer.

"Josh Patson is a country rep player. He is big, strong, quick and a handful at either centre or in the second row. Josh plays with plenty of energy and runs really good lines and is one of the fittest players in our club."

Kyle Kennedy played in Papua New Guinea with the NSW Country team in 2018 at under-23 level and has been part of the Northern Rivers Titans squad for the past three years, playing a major role in winning the Men's Under-23s Country Championships in 2018.

Kyle and Lachlan's brother Aidan was also picked but had to withdraw with injury.
