The Bureau of Meteorology has said the risk of Minor Flooding in Lismore has now eased.
"Forecast rainfall totals for the remainder of Wednesday into early Thursday morning have now eased across the Wilsons catchment, Minor flooding at Lismore is no longer expected."
"No further flooding is expected in the Wilsons River."
"The Wilsons River at Lismore (AHD) will remain below the minor flood level (4.20 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday."
Currently, the flood level in Lismore is 1.47m and steady.
Since 9am, only 2mm has fallen at the Lismore Airport and in the catchment, Goonengerry recorded 10mm, Repentance 11mm, Nimbin 2mm and Terania Creek 4mm.
As the weather system slowly moves south, there is the chance of a shower tomorrow with only the potential of 1mm tomorrow and Friday.
More good news, the weekend will be sunny with 27 degrees expected on Saturday and 23 degrees on Sunday.
