Big scorelines have dominated Round 12 in FNC Rugby Union on Saturday.

Lismore rallied late in their match against Ballina, scoring three tries in the second half to go down 83-24.

Ballina ran riot scoring 13 tries in the big win.

It was a similar story around the rest of the competition when Casuarina Beach, who sit in third spot defeated the fourth placed Byron Shire 62-3.

Wollongbar Alstonville closed out the round with a 62-10 win over Lennox Head.

There were better signs for Lismore's Women's and Colts teams, with the Women defeating a strong Ballina side 22-17 and the Colts returning to form with a 28-0 victory.

The Colts move into equal third place on the table and the Women have joined Casino in equal first.

A general bye is in place for FNC Rugby Union next weekend with the Wallabies taking on the British and Irish Lions in Brisbane.

There are a number of catch-up games scheduled on Thursday night and Saturday.
