Australia Post gold medalist Olympic stamps out now

After a record-equalling day winning three Olympic gold medal events, nine more Australian gold medallists are set to feature on the latest Australia Post Australian Gold Medallist Stamps for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games.

Bronte Campbell, Meg Harris, Emma McKeon and Cate Campbell are the first Australian athletes to feature on Australia Post’s Australian Gold Medallist Stamps for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games.

In a stunning performance, Australia’s 4 x 100 metre Freestyle Relay team set a World Record time of 3:29.69, beating Canada and the USA to earn Australia its third consecutive gold medal in the event.

In the women's Four rowing final, Lucy Stephan, Rosemary Popa, Jessica Morrison and Annabelle McIntyre rowed to a spectacular victory setting an Olympic Best time with 6:15.37 and finishing just 0.34 seconds ahead of the Netherlands.

The men’s Four team of Alexander Purnell, Spencer Turrin, Jack Hargreaves and Alexander Hill rowed to their own victory minutes later, setting an Olympic Best time of 5:42.76 finishing ahead of Romania and Italy.

Swimming champion Ariarne Titmus took out her second gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, winning the 200m freestyle event just two days after being crowned the women's Olympic 400m freestyle champion, setting an Olympic Record time of 1:53.50.

Three new stamps featuring an image of the athletes from each event with their gold medals in Tokyo will be available in participating Australia Post retail outlets from Monday 2 August, while stocks last.

The Olympic champions join fellow Olympians Bronte Campbell, Meg Harris, Emma McKeon, Cate Campbell and women's 100m backstroke champion Kaylee McKeown as the latest athletes to feature on a stamp through the Australian Gold Medallist Stamps program.

Australia Post will celebrate each Australian gold medal performance in Tokyo with a gold medallist stamp, which will be produced within 72 hours of the medal ceremony taking place and available in participating Post Offices, via mail order on 1800 331 794, and online while stocks last.
