Children and teenagers who would like to be on stage in the pantomine Puss in Thongs are invited to audition on December 7.

Puss in Thongs is the next children’s production of Lismore Theatre Company (LTC) and will be coming to the Rochdale Theatre in the April 2020 school

holidays. 

The pantomine’s director Danica Taylor said Puss in Thongs puts an Australian spin on a well known story.

Danica is the teaching director of The D-Vine Drama Company that provides after-school drama classes for children and teens on the Northern Rivers. 

Danica loved directing last year’s Happily Never After pantomime and she in the cast on the LTC stage in the 2018 production of Cagebirds. 

Puss in Thongs will be produced by Jade Johnston and LTC rising star Katie Knowles will be assistant director. 

This Pantomime that puts an Australian spin on a well known story, is sure to be another hit with audiences. 

The production team is seeking 20 children and/or teens to attend the pantomine’s audition at the Wollongbar Community Hall on December 7 from 12.30pm. 

Potential cast members will need to be available on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings in February until the school holiday performances in April 2020.
