The Lismore Little Athletics season is finally in the starting blocks and ready to go.

The season has been delayed due to the club rebuilding after the devastating floods in February/March and wreaking havoc at their home base of Riverview Park.

The season will commence on Friday 14 October and registrations are still being taken at https://lansw.com.au/lismore-little-athletics/

In exciting news for the club, Lismore Athletics has secured membership with Athletics NSW to provide a senior athletics club for 17+ years. This membership allows the Lismore club to be one of the only clubs between Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads to offer the senior opportunity.

Club President Paul Moretti is excited about the new venture "This is important as we can now have our athletes continue in the club without having to leave to pursue there athletic adventures elsewhere. It allows many of our older athletes who would still like to compete, to do so. We have a few masters athletes joining already, it is exciting.".
