Applications sought for this year’s Byron Shire Mayoral Fund

Attention Byron Shire-based community groups, schools, P&Cs and not-for-profit organisations.

Applications for the 2024/25 Byron Shire Mayoral Fund are now open until Friday, 3 October. There’s a total pool of $3,500 available.

“Last year, the Mayoral fund provided small grants to ten community organisations to support a diverse range of projects and initiatives happening across the Shire,” Mayor, Sarah Ndiaye said.

“Small, well-considered projects can create very meaningful change, and I encourage all community groups to have a think about how they could put a modest funding boost to use and get an application in.

“This fund is all about supporting projects with heart that will make a significant, positive impact on our local communities,” the Mayor added.
