Appeal to locate missing woman from Byron/Mullumbimby

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Byron Bay/Mullumbimby area.


Lauren Weir, aged 41, was last seen in the Byron/Mullumbimby area last Saturday, 21 February 2026.



When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.


Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.



Lauren is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm-170cm tall, of slim build, with brown hair and hazel eyes.


She is known to frequent the Byron Bay and Mullumbimby areas.



She may be driving a white Toyota Camry.
