Appeal for information after man hit by car at Lawrence

Police are appealing for information following a crash at Lawrence, about 25km north of Grafton, last week.


About 9pm on Friday, 30 May 2025, emergency services were called to Richmond Street, Lawrence, following reports a man had been hit by a car.


At the scene, police were told a man was walking along Richmond Street when he was hit by a car.



The 37-year-old man was taken to Lismore Hospital in a stable condition.


The driver of the vehicle – a 50-year-old man – was not injured and is assisting police with inquiries.


Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District have commenced inquiries into the incident.
