ANZAC Day 2025 is likely to be wet across Lismore and the Northern Rivers as a high-pressure system in the south of the country causes southeasterly winds to push up the coast.
Raincoats and umbrellas are on the must-have list as the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting 2 to 25mm with the chance of a thunderstorm. Fingers crossed it is only 2mm as our Diggers commemorate the service and loss of lives across all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping missions.
The Lismore App has launched its ANZAC Day button on the front page. Look for the Digger hat or click here ANZAC Day
The ANZAC Day button contains all Dawn Services and Day Marches in Lismore and across the Northern Rivers, as well as photos from the major conflicts of 1914.
You will also find the CWA ANZAC biscuit recipe for anyone looking to do some baking in the next two days.
Here's a reminder to look out for the ANZAC badges that are on sale now at various locations around town:
Fundraising is the principal method of income for the sub-Branch, so dig deep.
