Another week and another scam has crossed the computer screens of some of us already in 2020.

The Richmond District Police has warned everyone to watch out for the latest myGov impersonation scam.

Scammers are using the new year to claim you've been found eligible for a tax refund... if you provide your myGov login and credit card details.

Don't be taken in by the official look and the the enticement of money into your bank account. No official organisation will ask for your login or credit card details.

Hit delete and don't do it!
