The Lismore Jewel Centre on Molesworth Street were the victims of a 'break and enter' last night.
Owners Mariska and Gary Pinkerton were called at 12:35am when the security alarm system woke them.
When they arrived at the shop they were greeted by the security guard who showed them the smashed fortified glass window. Two rocks were thrown with great force to smash the glass and dent the wall behind.
Two little jewellery pads were stolen including 9 gold and white rings and various stones.
Unfortunately, the security guard did not see anyone in the vicinity.
Police turned up shortly after and began a forensic investigation.
Acting Inspector Kim Mcpherson told the Lismore App an amount of jewellery was taken and police were seeking the public's help as they investigate the incident.
Anyone with information is to contact Lismore Police on (02) 6626 0599 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
This is the second robbery in as many days following the armed robbery at the McDonalds store on Brewster Street on Saturday night (Man robs fast-food restaurant last night. Police seek public's help.).
Acting Inspector Mcpherson said they do not believe the two incidents are connected but it is too early to tell.
