After 295 days Far North Coast Baseball is back at Albert ParkNorths, the oldest club in Far North Coast Baseball, are the Major League title holders.

It’s been 295 days since the last pitch was thrown on the baseball fields at Albert Park, Lismore, when Norths came from third to take out the Far North Coast Baseball Major League title for 2019, and Workers took out the Club Champions again.

Far North Coast Baseball is the first competitive team sports since the coronavirus pandemic shut down all sport in March to relaunch with matches being played at Ballina, Casino and Lismore today.

Players and spectators have to adhere to NSW Health and Baseball Australia guidelines for the coronavirus.

"Our basic rule for the season is ‘arrive, play sport, leave’," Jeremy Sexton said on the Far North Coast Baseball Faceball page.

Major League games have been scheduled for a 3pm start.

Comment was sought from Far North Coast Baseball.
