After the February and March floods devastated their training facility in South Lismore, the Adrenaline Cheer Elite team have returned to competition in a big way.
The team travelled to the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre across the weekend to compete at the groups first competition since rebuilding the facility and returning to training and preparation.

Proprietor Natasha Herne and her team of coaches assembled six teams to contest the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation Cheer and Dance Battles at Carrara on Friday night and across both Saturday and Sunday.
It has been a huge undertaking getting the gym back to a usable facility and returning to training at the Foleys Road site after losing everything in the floods in February and March.
The floodwaters reached the roof of the facility but with the help of staff, family, clients and the generosity of the cheerleading community, Herne was able to reopen on 27 April, less than two months after the devastation.
"The teams have done so well and I am so proud of all of the teams this weekend."
"We missed two months of preparation time but all of our teams have performed so well and we look forward to continue our journey."
The teams that contested the Battles included the Pink Thunder, Purple Rain, Tsunami, Black Lightning, Heatwave and Mini Tornadoes.
