Action aplenty in Football FNC

There will be plenty of local action in Far North Coast Football across the weekend.

In Men's Premier League action Richmond Rovers will host Maclean on Saturday in East Lismore starting at 3:00pm.

Rovers need the win to stay in touch with the top four, sitting in fifth with a game in hand.

The East Lismore side had a strong 3-0 win over MBVFC last weekend and will look to continue the momentum when they take on the Bobcats.

South Lismore and Alstonville will clash at the Celtics home ground on Saturday.

Alstonville currently sit on top of the ladder, just 3 points ahead of South Lismore, with the battle highlighting a weekend of football action.

On Sunday, the Goonellabah Hornets will tackle Mullumbimby Brunswick Valley at Weston Park Goonellabah, starting at 2:30pm.

The Hornets will look to utilise their home ground advantage to break free of the bottom four teams, who all sit with one win apiece for the season.

Goonellabah will look to sure up their defence after conceding the most goals this season.

In Women's Premier League action, South Lismore travel to Byron Bay on Friday night and Alstonville head north to Pottsville on Sunday.

Ballina have forfeited to Rovers on Friday night.

Next weekend will see the local derby clash between Rovers and South Lismore on Friday night at 8:00pm.
