A wet start comes to the working week

After the threat of rain with thunder and storm activity last night, we did finally see some shower activity. We can expect more of the same to start the working week, just a bit lighter.

We are talking 6 to 15mm for all of Monday which is good for paddocks and gardens that were starting to look a bit brown.

The rain will mostly be in the morning easing to showers by the afternoon as the winds turn south east at a blustery 15-20 km/h turning southerly 15-25 in the late afternoon.

That southerly will also keep the temperatures down for the early part of the week with maximums of 26 today and 24 Tuesday then warming to late twenties by Friday.
