It was a massive day of Grand Finals for the Lismore and District Netball Association at the Marie Mackney Courts on Saturday.



Twenty two teams from six clubs contested deciders from U/10's through to Seniors.


Matches commenced at 10am with the Junior Divisions demonstrating that the talent is starting young.


In the U/10's Daleys Dynamites defeated the SCU Sunflowers 8-2 after finishing the season on equal points.


In the U/11's Daleys Dots remained undefeated after an 11-4 win over fellow Daleys side, Daleys Dandelions.

The U/12's saw another Daleys team remain undefeated for the reduced season, with Daleys Diamonds defeating Bundjalarms Butterflies 29-10.


Two divisions of Intermediates then took to the court with Daleys Dolphins defeating Bundjalarms Magic 28-16 in the Division 2 Grand Final.

The Division 1 Intermediates Grand Final was a close encounter with Summerlanders Mystics coming from behind to defeat Daleys Daffodils 23-19.

The Senior Divisions commenced with the Division 1 Grand Final and Bundjalarms completing an undefeated season with a 42-32 win over rivals Daleys.


The tightest match of the day was in Division 2, with SCU Italo Aussies coming from behind on the back of a vocal crowd to defeat Bundjalarms Blue 31-30.

Division 3 was an upset of sorts, with the previously undefeated East Lismore 1 going down to the SCU Crushers 37-23.


Mick Stars continued their winning run in Division 4 with a win over Summerlanders Stars 41-34.


The Bundjalarms club had their second win of the day when Bundjalarms Deadly's upset SCU Poison Ivy 38-36 in Division 5.


And in an all SCU Grand Final, SCU Strikers defeated their club mates SCU Assassins 28-18 in Division 6.
