40kmh zone on Coraki Road at Glebe Bridge as works begin

Motorists who drive on Coraki Road at Coraki this week will have delays as workers carry out essential maintenance work on Glebe Bridge.

Work being carried out from Wednesday 1 May under Glebe Bridge involves installation of erosion protection and placement of new scour rocks.

To carry out this work a site will be established next to Glebe Bridge. Single lane, alternating traffic flow arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during site establishment and at the end of the project, during site pack up.

Once the site is established the speed limit will remain 60km/h on Coraki Road during work hours of 7am to 5pm on weekdays and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. No work will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Work is expected to be complete by Friday 31 May, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow extra travel time, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
