"It's Good To Be Back", that's this year's slogan for the 2022 Norco North Coast National Lismore Show, the first Lismore Show since 2019 when the COVID pandemic caused two years of cancellations.
The Lismore App visited the hard-working team from North Coast National today to find out how preparations are coming along.
John Gibson President of North Coast National said, "If we can continue to get this sort of good weather I think we'll have a wonderful show, especially with a free gate."
"The interest from the public has been overwhelming, especially for those who are looking to win some free ride tickets through our Facebook page. Thank you to the Showman's Guild for those tickets, their generosity has been very very heartening."
John is referring to the 25 double-ride passes North Coast National are giving away. Time is running out for you to enter as the winner is drawn and announced just before 9am tomorrow (Friday, 14 October) morning.
To enter you have to
1. Like the Facebook page
2. Share the post
3. Comment telling us your Favourite ride at the show.
Many people may remember how the main arena looked following the From The Heart concert when it was a mud pit.
Well, now the grass is back and ground is firm to host the ring events like show jumping.
The Lismore App is a proud media sponsor of the Lismore Show and today you will notice the Lismore Show button (below Primex) so you can see the full schedule of events helping you to plan your day or days from the 20th to the 22nd of October.
Gates will be open from 9am to 9pm each day with usual agricultural features such as beef cattle, horse showing and jumping, poultry, woodchopping, home brew, fine arts as well as the exciting nighttime events like the rodeo, FMX and fireworks.
A full rundown of the events will be released soon, however, if you check out the Lismore Show button you can see the individual schedule.

"In general, people should be very pleased that we have been able to put this year's Lismore Show together in a very short period of time," John Gibson added, "I want to thank the sponsors for coming on board with limited notice and during very hard times."
"I think, as a community, we're all going to be pleased with the outcome. It has been an extremely difficult year and the Lismore community deserves time to bring their family to an event where they can smile, have fun and forget about the rebuild for a few days."
It certainly will be "Good To Be Back"!
