17 year old charged after East Lismore break-in as investigation continue

Officers from Richmond Police District have arrested a 17-year-old male in East Lismore following an aggravated break-in yesterday.


A police spokesperson told the Lismore App that around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, police were called to an address in Nielson Street, East Lismore, after reports of someone being injured at that address.



Upon attendance, police located a young adult male with a head injury and established a crime scene.


As a result of the information received, police arrested a 17-year-old male at Bright Street, East Lismore.



That person was charged with a number of offences, including aggravated break and enter in company.


He was refused bail and will appear before the Lismore Children’s Court today (Friday, 15 September)



Police are still making inquiries to other persons involved in the incident.
