About us

  • We are a growing family-run organisation with several boutique bars, pubs and restaurant operations located in Newcastle and The Hunter. 
  • We are seeking a self motivated, trustworthy and experienced general manager to become part of the family. 
  • You will be a strong leader and capable of running your own show within the group. 

The Role

  • We are looking for the best. Someone who knows their food and drinks to head up the operations of this important craft beer, cocktail, and food venue.
  • An individual who sees the strategic importance of our offering and is willing to stay ahead of the curve within the industry. 
  • You will lead your team through example ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. A strong hospitality background with a passion for craft beer, cocktails, and good food. 
  • You have the ability to hire, mentor and develop a team to deliver quality and consistency in every facet of the business.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Previous management experience and strong knowledge in all aspects of running a busy hotel including bar, food and accommodation. 
  • A drive and passion to be recognised as the best venue operator in a tightly controlled market.
  • Current RSA & RCG certificates
  • A hands-on approach to management
  • A friendly, self-motivated personality with excellent people skills
  • A passion for the hospitality industry with the ability to create a positive and proactive working environment

The following attributes are also considered desirable:

  • A demonstrated understanding of industry-related technology systems
  • A demonstrated understanding of the locality, its' clientele, and business drivers
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills
