Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a dedicated Pathology Specimen Collector to join our dynamic team.

Position: Pathology Specimen Collector

Location: Northern Rivers, NSW

Employment Type: Full time with part time options available


Key Responsibilities 

  • Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.


What we are looking for

We greatly value candidates with customer service experience who will make patient care their number one priority.


Other desirable skills and attributes you would have include:

  • Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and /or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection 
  • The confidence to work independently, sometimes in a solo collection centres
  • Efficient time management and problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role
  • A First Aid Certificate


Successful candidates will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during their first twelve months of employment. 


Upon completion of training, candidates will receive an SNP training certificate.
