Your opportunity 

We are seeking passionate Naturopaths to join the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University as casual academics and clinic supervisors.

In this role, you will support and supervise naturopathic medicine students during clinical placements and practice education activities, bringing your professional expertise into both teaching and hands-on learning environments.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering theoretical and practical learning activities on Lismore and/or Gold Coast campuses
  • Supervising and supporting naturopathic medicine students during on campus clinical placements
  • Providing constructive feedback to help students develop confidence and professional competence
  • Collaborating with academic and professional staff to ensure high-quality educational experiences
  • Demonstrating commitment to evidence-based, person-centred practice in teaching and clinical contexts


What you will bring

You’re a passionate and qualified naturopath with experience in mentoring students and sharing your clinical knowledge in an educational setting.

You thrive in dynamic learning environments and are committed to helping students grow into confident, professional practitioners.

To succeed in this role, you will also need:

  • Bachelor-level qualification in Naturopathy and at least 3 years of clinical practice. A postgraduate qualification in higher education is also desirable.
  • Knowledge of teaching technologies and experience with case-based and inquiry-based learning approaches
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills to support students in clinical and educational settings

  • Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480
  • Hourly rate varies depending on the type of educational activity
