The Director, Planning, Partnerships and Allied Health is a member of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) Executive Leadership Team,

working with the Executive Leadership Team, Directors and General Managers to support NNSWLHD to achieve its vision.

The position provides strategic leadership at an executive level, ensuring that the district is a sector leader in organisational strategy and health planning,

redesign and innovation, data and analytics, and information management (including performance reporting and the use of data and health information),

evaluation, engaging meaningfully with communities and managing strategic reforms across the wider health system. 

Develop and sustain external partnerships with a range of organisations to promote the health and wellbeing of the community

and to ensure an integrated health care neighbourhood that delivers the best quality health care, driving patient centred,

sustainable and digitally enabled health care through delivery of high quality, evidence based virtual care and related services. 

Provide professional governance and leadership of all allied health disciplines, including advancing work planning and initiatives to encourage ‘top of scope’ delivery and ‘grow your own talent’.

This also includes advancing research capacity and capability in the field of allied health.
