Pack Shed Shift Supervisor - Harvest Operations Team
The pivotal role of our Harvest Operations Team is indispensable to the success of our harvest.
Our Harvest Operations Team – Shift Supervisor is brought on board seasonally, specifically for our berry Harvest.
You will be engaged for the duration of this harvest season and released at the conclusion of the season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, coordinating the daily packing/production activities to meet production targets and ensure fruit meets customer specifications.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of workers, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Enforce all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with others to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes or technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Stock control and inventory monitoring.
- Prepare pallet labels based on Dispatch priorities.
- Ensure all areas of the packing line are running efficiently, including operation of Kato and Curo
- Assist with the operation and monitoring of in-line check weigher, metal detector and in-line labellers
- Assist with training and performance management for all staff on packing line
- Assist with dispatching orders, creating load plans and coordinating freight pickups with suppliers.
- Conduct toolbox meetings.
- Complete all documentation required.
- Assist with co-ordinating workers break times.
- Address workers to resolve issues.
- If required, assist with packing, labelling, and palletising of produce and other site duties as required.

You will be required to
- Reinforce MB’s high quality of WHS & Food Safety standards i.e., jewellery wearing, correct PPE.
- Undertake in house training on relevant work instructions.
- Follow MB policies and procedures.
- Assist in all cleaning practices.
- Keep workstation clean and tidy and report all incidents and accidents.
- Assist with packing.
