Our Harvest Operations Team is indispensable to the success of our harvest.

We seek dependable, skilled, and efficient individuals to handle the transportation of our fruit, contribute to packaging processes, and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities.

Additionally, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workplace is a crucial aspect of their responsibilities.

Our Harvest Operations Team is brought on board seasonally, specifically for our berry Harvest.

You will be engaged for the duration of this harvest season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a MR and/or HR truck to transport goods to and from specified destinations, such as between our production facilities.
• Load and unload produce and packaging, ensuring that all products are securely braced to prevent damage during transit.
• Operation of pallet jacks
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any required load paperwork.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• To load fruit from picking stations 
• Wrap fruit, ready for transportation.
• Completion of MB required paperwork.
• Undertake in house training on relevant work instructions.
• Follow MB policies and procedures.
• Assist with other operations roles on the harvest, including towing harvest trailers, driving water truck to fill picking stations and helping to set up blocks in the morning prior to harvest. 
• Keep vehicle and workspace clean and tidy. 
• Report all incidents and accidents.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Class MR or HR Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Forklift licence and previous experience (desirable) 
• Have a strong work ethic and keen sense of initiative. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and health regulations. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to handle and transport heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
