We are seeking a compassionate, skilled and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team at the Northern Rivers Koala Hospital.

This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of koala conservation efforts while providing exceptional medical care and support to injured, sick, and orphaned koalas.

The Head Veterinary Nurse will work closely with veterinarians, other nurses and Friends of the Koala volunteers to ensure the well-being and rehabilitation of koalas admitted to the hospital.

We are offering a part-time position, up to 3 weekdays per week (options for 1 - 2 days casual, or 3 days permanent part-time).

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and in line with the Animal Care and Veterinary Services Award.

We are particularly interested in applications from Veterinary Nurses with extra training or an interest in practice management.

Koala and other wildlife experience is also highly desirable, but not essential.
