After leaving school, Kevin entered the Royal Military College, Duntroon, where he studied science, majoring in mathematics and physics. 

After 13 years in the army, he turned to teaching, completing a Dip Ed at ACU. He came to the Northern Rivers in 1994, beginning a teaching career at St Mary’s Casino, then transferring to St John’s Woodlawn in 1997.

Kevin completed his Masters of Education in 2004.

Married Cath in 1995, they settled in Repentance Creek, farming coffee and macadamias. 



Kevin is passionate about Council doing more than just roads, rates and rubbish.

Council needs to be leading the community, providing and promoting sporting opportunities, in education through our library and advice on important issues.

Council should be at the forefront of tackling climate change and the environment.

And council should be a proud promotor of the arts and culture, making Lismore a destination for living and for tourism
