At 27 years of age, Joy is already a Lawyer, admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW. 

Employed in a Government funded Lismore Law firm, she is passionate about social justice and the pursuit of equity for all before the courts and in law and in the community generally. 

An active Young Labor member, she enjoyed being involved in student politics. She is committed to socialist principles, and hopes to see a fairer and more equitable share of community spending for young people and their families.

I have been a member of Labor for approximately 9 years. I am passionate about social justice and equity for all.



Joy is keen to see improved employment and social outcomes for the youth of our area. She wants to see a thriving university and arts culture back in Lismore, to a town that attracts and retains young people involvement in the future of Lismore.
