Passed away peacefully, at Florence Price Gardens, Ballina, aged 97 years.

Loved wife of Louis (dec).

Adored mother & mother-in-law of Denise & Geoff Stewart, Beth & Chris McNamara, Steve & Shell, and Ann & David Trevan.

Cherished Nanna to her grandchildren & their partners, Kate & Paul, Kimberly & Henry, Erin, & Anthony, Clare & Brad, James & Sharni, and India.  

Loving grandma to her great-grandchildren Phinn, Marlow, Sophie, Ollie, Ryder, and Lucia.

Fondly remembered and loved by the extended Riordan, and Synott families.

Family & Friends are invited to the service of celebration for the life of Merle, to be held at The Chapel of the Lismore Memorial Gardens, Skyline Road, Goonellabah, Tuesday, 14th October 2025, commencing at 10:00 AM. Followed by private interment.
