Passed away suddenly at Lismore Base Hospital with his family by his side, aged 89 years.

Loved & loving husband of Rose (recently passed away) for 64 years.

Adored father & father-in-law of Des & Lynda, Kerry & Brendan, Brett & Vanessa, Michelle & Robert and Megan & Will.

Cherished Pop to his grandchildren Kara, Amy; Letisha, Kristy, Jenna; Frankie, Lulu; Hannah, Alex; Seth, and Arlo and their partners.

Loved Poppy to his 13 great-grandchildren.

Loved by the extended Oaten & McDermott Family.

Family & friends are invited to the Service of celebration & thanksgiving for the life of Lance to be held Friday, 7th November 2025 in the Gummifera Gardens, Lismore Memorial Gardens commencing at 2:00pm followed by private cremation.
