Lismore Rainforest Botanic Garden Native Bees as Pollinators Guided Walk

Lismore Rainforest Botanic Garden Native Bees as Pollinators Guided Walk

Sat 29 Nov 2025, 11:00 PM - Sun 30 Nov 2025, 12:00 AM

Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens, 313 Wyrallah Road, East Lismore

The next guided walk in the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens is on Sunday, November 30 at 10am with Graeme.

Focussing on the wonderful insects, birds and animals which pollinate the plants in the rainforest, the walk takes you to see the native bee hives located throughout the Gardens.

Learning about the importance of these stingless bees gives visitors an opportunity to think more about making a home garden which invites these happy workers in, to add biodiversity and productivity.

It is a shady, unpaved walk, with one small incline. Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, pants and a hat. Bring water.

Morning tea available after the walk in the Visitor's Centre (gold coin donation appreciated).

Email booking is essential as numbers are limited publicity@friendslrbg.com.au.

Meet at the Visitor’s Centre at 9:45am for a 10am start for a one-hour walk. $5 per adult, children free. Now, cash or card.

Friends LRBG is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation that was founded, manages and maintains the Gardens. Thanks for your valued support.
