The next guided walk in the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens is on Sunday, January 25 at 9:30am with Richard.
This walk will focus on Megafauna and Microplastics.
Richard Cassels is a friend of the Botanic Gardens, a resident of Lismore, and a former archaeologist (of the Stone Age), museum curator and exhibitions manager. He will share what he sees as some big stories that the gardens can tell, from what the first plants on land can show us about the future, to addressing microplastics and the many other challenges of the chaotic times we live in today.
Please come and share your thoughts about living in this somewhat dystopian world. Are plants the answer?

Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, pants and a hat. Bring water.
Morning tea available after the walk in the Visitor's Centre (gold coin donation appreciated).
Email booking is essential as numbers are limited publicity@friendslrbg.com.au.
Meet at the Visitor’s Centre at 9:15am for a 9:30am start for a one-hour walk. $5 per adult, children free. Now, cash or card.
Friends LRBG is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation that was founded, manages and maintains the Gardens. Thanks for your valued support.
