The Bobbie Goddard Trio

The Bobbie Goddard Trio will perform for the Lismore Jazz Club some of the most well-loved, beautiful, heartfelt, foot-tapping and engaging tunes of the great jazz standards.

The trio began as a duo of two well-known, versatile Northern Rivers musicians, vocalist Bobbie Goddard and her good friend jazz pianist Harry Freeman. Bobbie and Harry were then joined by electric bassist Bruce Worrall, who has played in all genres at the highest level in Australia, to complete The Bobbie Goddard Trio.

Looking forward to a wonderful afternoon with some special guest artists joining The Bobbie Goddard Trio at the Lismore Jazz Club on Sunday, 7 July 2024.

Tilly Jones and Finn Crethar

Tilly Jones (horns, cello) and Finn Crethar (keys) have been playing together for over five years. They first encountered each other at the Lismore Eisteddfod in primary school.

Since putting their rivalry aside, they have performed together numerous times, including for HSC and university exams, the Northern Rivers Conservatorium Youth Jazz Orchestra, and local bands such as Casey May and the Lovers.

Both classically trained musicians, the duo are now turning their chops to tackling the jazz standard repertoire, as well as original tunes by Tilly.
