The Lismore Free Markets are held the 3rd Sunday of each month.

They are located in Brewster St, Lismore, at the Community Garden, and run 9am-11am.

Lismore Free Market is a group for those living in and around Lismore and areas close by in the Northern Rivers who are interested in participating in Free Markets.

A Free Market is a gathering of people who want to give away goods and services for free, devoid of any money, bartering or trading.

A Free Market is a respectful space of sharing. It is a collective effort of all involved to make sure there is no impact of the market on the Earth or those around us when it is over.

Everyone is welcome to bring skills, food, household items, books, bikes, toys, clothing, and the list goes on, to the Free Market. Virtually anything is welcome.

There is also absolutely no obligation to bring anything along. We welcome all and do not expect everyone will have something to bring.

The one stipulation is that you take away what you bring if it does not get taken by another person. Other than this we ask that people use their common sense, and give away things that look safe. It is helpful if people check that items work before giving them away, but no guarantee can be made for people taking them away.
