CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR OPERATING HOURS

Following is a list of operating hours for Council’s various sites and offices over the Christmas/New Year period. 

Corporate Centre in Goonellabah

Closed from 4.30pm on Friday, 23 December until 8.30am on Tuesday, 3 January.

Lismore Recycling & Recovery Centre

Will remain open over the Christmas break excluding public holidays. This means the facility will be closed on the following days: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, 25-27 December and Sunday and Monday, 1-2 January.

Please note that waste collection will continue as normal.

Lismore Revolve Shop

Will remain open over the Christmas break excluding public holidays. This means the facility will be closed on the following days: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, 25-27 December and Sunday and Monday, 1-2 January.

Nimbin Transfer Station

Nimbin Transfer Station - The Nimbin Transfer Station will remain open over the Christmas break excluding public holidays. This means the facility will be closed on the following days: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, 25-27 December and Sunday and Monday, 1-2 January.

Libraries

Goonellabah Library will close at 5pm on Friday, 23 December. Lismore Pop-Up Library will close at 1pm on Saturday, 24 December. Both Goonellabah and Lismore Libraries will reopen at 9.30am on Tuesday, 3 January.

Lismore Regional Gallery

Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day (25-26 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January). Operating hours remain as normal on other days.

GSAC and Lismore Memorial Baths

Will remain open over the Christmas break. Closures include Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, 25-27 December and Monday, 2 January. Due to popular demand, GSAC will be open on New Year’s Day from 10am - 2pm.
