Lismore Art Club is celebrating 65 years of creativity with a milestone annual exhibition from Friday, 1 Aug to Friday, 22 Aug 2025 at Flourish Gallery, 15 Casino Street, South Lismore.

This landmark show presents artistic expression, community engagement and cultural continuity in one of Australia’s most vibrant regional arts communities. 

The exhibition will feature a diverse and inspiring array of works by current club members, spanning painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media. 

From established artists to emerging talents, the show offers a rich visual tapestry that reflects the unique voices, stories and perspectives of the Northern Rivers region.

Founded in 1960, Lismore Art Club Inc. was established to support and nurture local artists at all stages of their creative journey. What began as a small gathering of local art enthusiasts has grown

into a thriving community institution with a proud history and an eye toward the future.

The club continues to run regular monthly tutorials, social painting days, and exhibitions, providing members with invaluable opportunities for learning, collaboration, and public engagement. With a

strong emphasis on inclusivity and encouragement, Lismore Art Club remains a welcoming hub for artists of all abilities.
