Passed away peacefully, at Byron Central Hospital, in the care of his loving family, aged 93 years.

Adored father & father-in-law of Darryl & Trish, Graeme, Kamaia, and Wendy & Hermann Neukirch.

Cherished Grandpa to his grandchildren Akacia, Chris, Nadine, Daniel, Benjamin, Joe, Alice, Hazel, and Zoe.

Cherished Great Grandpa to Sam, Jye, Coen, Jett, Orla, Leon Remy, Blake, and Jack.

Loved brother & brother-in-law of Murray & Betty, Moss & Jenny, Ron (Dec’d), Lindsay (Dec’d), and Walter (Dec’d).

Loved by the extended Harkness families.

Family & friends are invited to the service of celebration for the life of Alan, to be held in the Gummifera Garden, Lismore Memorial Gardens, Skyline Road Goonellabah, Thursday 22nd August 2024, commencing at 10:00 AM. Followed by private cremation.
