Alf left our world gently last Sunday morning at Crowley Village in Ballina with his devoted family by his side and the birds calling him heavenward.

Alf was the deeply loved husband of Marie, whom he absolutely cherished, adored father and father-in-law of Brian & Vicki, Janelle & Neil, Warren, Caren & Rob, John (dec.), Barbara & Craig, Cathryn & Steve, beloved Pop of his 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, loved brother of Claire (dec.), Mary, Noel (dec.), Bryan (dec.), Bernie (dec.), Helen and Pat, much-loved friend of Janice, and a true mate to many, many people in his community and beyond.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at St Carthage’s Cathedral in Lismore 9.30am, Friday, 20 December 2024, followed by burial at Northern Rivers Memorial Park, South Gundurimba Cemetery.

The world farewells an exquisite gentleman.

Alf had a deep love of family and an abiding loyalty to his community throughout his life on Earth.
